Turtle World (Alpha)

ALPHA – Turtle World is still being built. Things will change, some parts are rough around the edges, and you may meet the odd bug. That's exactly why we'd love you to try it!

🐢 Welcome to Turtle World!

You're a little turtle on a sunny island in the bay – and the best thing about being a turtle? Your home comes with you. Tap the 🏠 button anywhere and you crawl inside your shell, where you can decorate, invite friends over and throw a party.

Make your turtle yours, meet other players, play minigames, collect things and help the islanders with their problems. No fighting, no losing, no stress – just a cosy place to hang out.

🏝️ A whole island to explore
 
 Start with a parachute jump from the Sky Turtle airship, land in the little harbour town of Shellbrook, and set off: sandy beaches, a mossy forest with a wizard's tower, snowy mountains with a ski lift, Neon City's arcade and nightclub, a shopping centre by the sea, a golf resort, a farm, a waterfall – and when you're ready, catch a plane to a desert town or a misty old city, dive to the coral reef, or fly a rocket to the Moon.

👕 Make your turtle yours
 
 Pick your skin, shell, pattern and eyes (18 kinds – star eyes, heart eyes, cat eyes…), then dress up with nearly 400 clothes: hats, shades, costumes, capes, pets that follow you around, tattoos and more.

🏠 Your home is on your back
 
 Decorate your shell with almost 150 pieces of furniture – sofas, aquariums, jukeboxes, a TV with real shows, a games console. Add a loft, a garden where flowers grow, and throw a party (disco, beach, spooky or cosy) – your friends get an invite on their ShellPhone.

🎮 30+ minigames and activities
 
 Kart racing, paint splat battles, a sky-dive, sledding, golf, fishing (30 fish to catch), beach football, Prop Hunt, arcade classics, warehouse jobs and wind-turbine repairs… Play to earn shells, beat the gold scores for special prizes, and climb the highscore lists.

📖 Stories to follow
 
 Over 100 quests, from the big main story – why is the tide behaving so strangely? – to little favours for the locals: piece together a pirate's torn treasure map, fix a watchmaker's clock, track down whoever's stealing bolts from the wind turbines… Every quest adds a page to the Shellbrook Chronicles, the history of the bay.

🏭 Build something of your own
 
 Gather materials around the island and craft things you can't buy. Rent a shop in the Galleria and sell to other players, or run your own factory at Kelpworks – hire other turtles (or the temp agency's bots) and sell what you make. Write pages in TurtlePedia, post to Shellgram, and build your own page on Shellnet.

🦋 Always something to collect
 
 A Fish Book, a Critter Book (30 little animals, some only out at night), a Flower Book, postcards from every place you visit, and a world that changes with the time of day and the seasons.

👫 Made to be safe and friendly
 
 Turtle World is made for players of all ages, with young players in mind:

• Safe Chat (pick from ready-made phrases) or filtered chat
• Report and block buttons on every player
• No real money, no ads, no loot boxes

📱 Play anywhere
 
 It runs in your browser on a computer, tablet or phone. On iPhone/iPad you can add it to your home screen (Share → Add to Home Screen) and play full screen with its own icon.

 Turtle World is in alpha and growing every week – new places, quests and clothes arrive all the time. Found a bug or have an idea? Use ☰ Menu → Report a bug / Suggest a feature in the game – every report is read.
